The Carnegie Library was located on E Kearsley St between Harrison and Chavez (on the corner of Clifford St, which doesn't exist anymore). It was built in 1902 with a $25,000 grant from the Carnegie Foundation. This is Looking down Clifford Street with E Kearsley going from left to right.  The library closed in 1958 on completion of the new City Library. Here we see it in 1962 looking rather neglected. It was tore down soon after. This whole area has now been redeveloped into the U of M and is totally unrecognizable today. The four pillars from the front of the library were saved and can today be seen on a house in Weller Street, Flint.

Available as a quality canvas print with FREE worldwide delivery. Choose from 5 different sizes.

Our fade-resistant textured canvas is stretched over a 3/4" (19mm) thick wood frame and stapled on the back. The edges contain a unique mirrored image. Canvas is tougher than paper so there's no need to frame it or put it behind glass. These are ready-to-hang on the wall.

Prints are made to order. Please allow 7 to 10 days for delivery.

We can also supply this image on a host of other formats including posters. foam board, wood framed prints and metal prints.
